Embrace the creative chaos
For those moments when even I need to remind myself about my goals for Te Ariroa Evolutions…
My goals for Te Ariroa Evolutions are:
1. Elevate the Opotiki community: Support community members in reaching their untapped potential through workshops, youth activities, and facilitating access to community services.
2. Youth Support: Focus on providing activities and programs that engage and empower the youth.
3. Offer diverse activities and workshops: Include CV building, tukutuku workshops, adult crafting workshops, Rangatahi camps, and support for dream and goal setting. Activities like terrarium making, paint and sip, tukutuku weaving, hand knitting, bracelet making, AI 101, vinyl sticker creation, and macrame key chains are part of the offerings.
4. Social Media Outreach: Use platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok to promote growing collective consciousness, reflect kaupapa Māori, identify triggers, share services, and advertise Rangatahi camps and afterschool activities.
5. After-School Activities: Provide after-school activities similar to the Opotiki Rangatahi camps, focusing on crafts and sports.
6. Craft Parties: Introduce 'Craft & Sip' sessions for adult crafting workshops.
7. After-School Programme Branding: Use the name 'AfterSchool Vibes' for after-school activities to create a recognizable and engaging brand.
